Mr and Mrs Waidha of Bufuula village manage the Waidha Family Farm. The farm engages in piggery, poultry farming, as well
as other farm related activities like teaching farmers better farm practices and community tourism.
The loan was used to build new concrete pens. These new pens accommodate an extra 10 pigs and 30 piglets. The loan was also used to improve the water supply by constructing a bore hole which not only supplies the farm but the entire village. As a result of the loan they have been able to employ one full time and one part time worker.

Azzizi is a professional driver based in Jinja. He is married with four children. One of sixteen children, Azzizi dropped out school at age 13 because his parents could not afford to pay for his education. Consequently, he had to work several jobs to support himself and his family from an early age.
Azzizi has not only stabilised his income and thus be more capable of supporting more members of his family, but he will also train one more driver from Jinja Drivers Association and also create one new job when he avails the old car to a new driver.

The Trade Relief loan, with business savings, enabled Charles to purchase another motorbike. This enabled him to diversify into grain wholesale and expand the transport side to his business. This has created the full time employment of a motorbike taxi driver. Kama Retail has made repayments well in advance to date.

Beauty Paradise is a popular hair salon offering hairdressing
and beauty services. Prior to the Trade Relief loan they were operating the training school underneath a veranda on the main road in Jinja but the loan has enabled them to relocate inside to a their own permanent premises and acquire the necessary equipment. The loan enabled the training department to grow into a fully-fledged school, The Golden Scissors Styling Academy, that has created two new jobs. In addition, the business has offered scholarships to AIDS orphans and other students from marginalised backgrounds to a tune of UGX 6,300,000 (£1,575)
