Partners

TradeRelief’s partners provide the regional expertise, local presence and day-to-day management of TradeRelief’s operations. TradeRelief currently works with two partners in Kenya and Uganda. More information on our partners is provided below.

Upendo Foundation International

TradeRelief has partnered with Upendo Foundation International, a Kenyan NGO that operates around the small bustling market town of Oyugis the Rachuonyo District of Southern Nyanza near Lake Victoria.

The roots of Upendo Foundation International go back many years to the late 1980s. It helps community groups of disadvantaged Kenyans with agricultural efficiency, health, micro-enterprise and education.

Upendo’s management, governance, finance and administration infrastructure is overseen by a board of Trustees made up of local professionals and business people.

TradeRelief and Upendo Foundation International have formed a partnership to provide investments that generate local economic activity and employment in this neglected part of East Africa.
